Most people think of the anthrax toxin only as a potential bioweapon, but Sreya Sanyal, a postbaccalaureate research fellow in the Intramural Research Program at the National Institutes of Health, is trying to transform it into a treatment for cancer. Her experiments could enable anthrax to eventually go from a health hazard to a life-saver.
