Ghost in the Boneyard I Short Film

The incident that sparked the creation of "Ghost in the Boneyard" occurred during my work on a documentary series titled "The Ripple Effect." One morning, I accompanied a State Trooper whose duty was to examine photographs of car accidents. That day, we reviewed images from a recent fatal crash. In every photo, there was a striking detail: the deceased woman was missing a boot.
The following day brought an eerie continuation. I was filming the trooper responsible for taking these accident scene photos. As I captured b-roll of him photographing another wreck, a chilling discovery awaited me. When I moved around to the driver's side door, I saw it - the missing boot from the previous day's photos, inexplicably resting in the back seat.
This haunting connection between the two scenes lingered with me, ultimately inspiring the creation of my short story, "Ghost in the Boneyard."
