4K | Setting New Standards? Cathay Pacific Business Class Comfort & Culinary Excellence on A350-900
In this trip report, we’re flying with Cathay Pacific Airways in Business Class from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) on an Airbus A350-900 (CX2691).
Despite recent negative press and PR challenges, as CX has always been one of my top preferences, I feel compelled to do it justice and share my experience with you.
The flawless service begins at the First Class check-in counter, where you simply wheel your suitcase over, and it's expertly taken care of. How convenient is that! We’ll then proceed to The Wing, the First Class Lounge, to indulge in a sophisticated, diverse, yet authentically prepared culinary experience.
Onboard the A350-900, the seat was nearly perfect, and so was the meal service! You won’t want to miss the spacious fully flat seat and the three-course meal on a white tablecloth - all this on a flight of under 4 hours!
Setting aside any reservations (no pun intended), CX delivered a top-notch product and I am very pleased to see them back in full swing again!
