Trying to open your file from outlook email but it keeps coming up in internet explorer or google chrome or even word? Or perhaps another application? Let me show you how to open these files and associate them properly from outlook.

Here are some common files and their associations:
Filename.PDF = Adobe Reader
Filename.JPG = Windows Photo Viewer
Filename.DOC = Microsoft Word
Filename.EXE = Be careful of this one as it's an executable (like an application) and sometimes, it could be virus.
Filename.ZIP = This is a compressed file which will need to be opened with an decompressor (usually windows will have it built in, but you might want to download a custom unzipper like winzip or 7zip)
