This lesson is the first of the series - an introduction toto the subject of fluid mechanics. In this 10-minute video, Professor Cimbala defines "fluid mechanics" by first defining "fluid" and then defining "mechanics." Other topics introduced and/or reviewed are pressure, normal stresses, and shear stresses.
