What is crazy, and that I don't necessarily understand, is that major tech companies such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, or Samsung have legions of diehard fans. You know, those people invited at a your friend's house during a supper party who told you that you're the evil because you buy Apple's products. Or the other guy who says Android is the evil because it collects all your personal data. And depending on how things are going, it can finish the wrong way. Just to mention, I already left one of my friend's house just because I had the feeling things were definitely going the wrong way. And obviously, with such diehard fans ready to behead anybody telling bad things about their lovely companies, brands are more than happy to leverage that passion to keep your wallet open. But the relationship only benefits one side, and trust me: it’s definitely not you.
