In this tutorial I go over how to edit a photo in Gimp using easy, basic techniques that are effective in making your photos look professional. When photos are taken correctly using a decent camera, a nice, professional result is fairly easy to achieve. Techniques discussed include color correction, brightness and contrast adjustments, using the levels feature, sharpening, and adding a vignette. This tutorial is suitable for all skill levels, including beginners, intermediates, and experts.
Gimp can be downloaded at Gimp.org for free and is essentially the free version of Photoshop.
