At just 6 light years away, Barnard’s star is next door but one in galactic terms being the second closest star system to earth. Barnard’s star is also an ancient star being up to 12 billion years old, nearly as old as the universe itself. We have also discovered a planet orbiting Barnard’s star. In this video we’ll take a trip to this cold world and have a look around, we’ll also see what our sun looks like from another star. So come with me on a trip to Barnard's Star b, an icy and ancient exoplanet.
