4 Way Hip Exercises are designed to strengthen the buttock muscles, groin muscles, hamstring muscles, quadriceps, hip flexors (iliopsoas, rectus femoris) and the muscles on the outside of the hip (abductors - ITBand, Gluteus Medius)..........Weak hip muscles and knee muscles can lead to hip bursitis, low back pain, knee pain, running knee pain, pain behind the knee, pain in front of the knee, sciatica, sharp pain on the outside of the hip, pain on the outside of the hip while sleeping and much more. A person can have the strongest hip muscles and knee muscles but if the neuromuscular timing is delayed, injury is likely to occur.
