HOW TO SET UP A YOUTUBE BRAND CHANNEL - FOR BUSINESS OWNERS
If you are a business your YouTube Channel should be a Brand Account, also commonly referred to as your YouTube Brand Channel, they are the same.
In today's YouTube tutorial video I'm going to share with you how to create a youtube brand account.
But first what is a brand account? So the brand account is a bit like having a facebook business page, it means you can keep it separated from your personal youtube interactions. So if you have a hobby of break making, you might like to ask questions on those videos and interact with other fans of those channels, but you might not necessarily want to have your business being represented in your personal viewing.
Okay so that is what the brand account actually is, it's a separate entity to hold your business channel. So what are the benefits to creating a youtube brand account?
The benefits of having a brand account vs a personal account are these;
1. You can have a different profile image from your google account.
2. You can watch and interact with videos on your personal account without your business needing to be involved.
3. Your brand account for business purposes can then sold as an asset.
4. Having a brand channel means you can have as many channels as you like on the same google account.
5. You can share access to your brand channel with your team without needing to share your google password or login.
6. There are more chances of being able to recover a deleted brand account than a personal account.

Hi, I'm Justina, I've not been on YouTube for a while on my own channel, but I've been on YouTube nearly everyday for my clients... so forgive me while I get myself back into the swing of my own video creation.
The thing is I'm a bit of an introvert, while not shy, I end up finding it easy to put my own marketing efforts to the bottom of the pile, preferring to work inside my business helping my really amazing clients with their video marketing, strategies and channels.
My background is television production, I worked in promotions as well as programme making and programme development, for the last 10 years (nearly) I've had my own small video marketing agency, doing work I love for businesses I love.
Over the years I've pivoted the business, some of our specialities have been filming food and animation explainers.
Today our focus is firmly on strategic video marketing for smaller businesses, often coaches, consultants, therapists and spiritual businesses. We help them make their own videos, we also have a video editing service which is primarily for businesses leveraging YouTube, so we also provide YouTube services in management and development.
