DIY Van Conversion Ep 3 : Furring Strips and Ceiling Installation
Welcome to our van conversion series!! Today we are installing our furring strips and our ceiling in our DIY camper van conversion in our promaster. This video is on the longer side but we wanted to show all that we did with the furring strips and ceiling installation. Before installing our ceiling, we added furring strips on the ribs so we had something to screw into. Our ceiling is made from spruce tongue and groove, and then we screwed into the furring strips. Since we already installed our maxxair fans before we knew what we were doing, we had to add furring strips around the fans too.
