Like Windows, MAC uses directories or "folders" to organize the files on your computer. You locate and organize the content on your MAC interface called the Finder. The Finder gives you multiple ways to create a new folder with the mouse or keyboard. Find a location on your MAC where you want to store files, and use the Finder to create a new folder.

1. File—New Folder
2. Shift Command N simultaneously
3. Right-Click—New Folder
4. Open on an existing folder—Click Action found under the folder name—New Folder

*Bonus: Not shown, hold the "Control" key while clicking to get New Folder options

To Name your Folder:
1. Click the name of the new folder to highlight it, and then click the name again to display a cursor.

2. Type the desired name for the folder, and then press "Return."
