Adding Google's reCAPTCHA to Contact Form 7 is SUPPOSED TO help you reduce spam emails to your inbox.

Update: Dec 19, 2018:
In the latest version of Contact Form 7 (CF 7.5.1), you are required to use Google's reCAPTCHA v3,

After using it for less than a week, I've found that it allows spam to go through unlike before. Comments below and recent reviews in the WordPress Plugins Repository indicate that spam is not being blocked.

Luckily for me, spam was still being filtered by my host into my Spam folder, and the increase is significant.

In this video, I show you how to use Google's latest version of it's reCAPTCHA (v3) with Contact Form 7 (v7.5.1)

This new v3 reCaptcha eliminates the "I'm a Robot" checkbox. So, you won't see that anymore with v3.

Also you won't need to insert the [recaptcha] shortcode anymore in Contact Form 7. It actually doesn't exist anymore.

Once you input your new site key and secret key, your site is now protected (or supposed to be) for forms that use this new version.

If you upgrade CF7 to 7.5.1 or later, you need to regenerate your reCaptcha keys and use v3 otherwise your reCaptcha keys won't protect your site.

All you need to do to complete integration of reCAPTCHA v3 with your site using CF7 is to add your site key and secret key, which I show you in this video.
