Don't buy any AI software right now....let me explain why
Tons of AI tools coming out everyday, some of the coolest things you'll see
VC money is being poured into this and so many logos are coming
You'll hear AI Creators say these things:
Top tools you can't live without
Are Illegal
change your life
blow your mind
make you money
First, more than half these creators haven’ even used some of these tools or given a real review, just listed them out.
Second, most importantly, these tools are either cannabalizing each other or the big companies make a huge number of them obsolete when they release their tools.
For example, Hubspot just released their public alpha for chatspot and Content Assistant.
If you were a hubspot client and planning to buy one of those AI writing tools like Copy.AI, Jasper, or even a Chat Assistant, why would you now?
Your marketing ecosystem will soon have these tools and ChatGPT is still free that you can add a bunch of plugins too.
So how do you evaluate AI tools then if new ones keep coming out which are better?
Here's the process I'm using:
First, definitely try all the tools, get on beta lists. Most of them have a freemium model.
Also be on the look out for similar tools (use futurepedia.io or futuretools.ai) and try them out too.
Now if you really really find the tool useful...I mean you don't think you can go back to what you were previously doing, maybe worth putting the $10-20 (usually is) to to try it further for a month or two. Don't buy an annual yet
If you do this, see if it can be part of your workflow or your company's workflow.
In that time, you can see if the tool fits your needs and if there is another tool that's better that may have just replaced it.
This will save you some money in the long run.
