In this javascript tutorial you will learn how to create a drag and drop interface using html5, css, & javascript. You'll also learn how to connect the html drag and drop interface to a mock json server - so that you can learn about using ajax using vanilla javascript.
The first part of the tutorial covers building the interface using html, css, and vanilla js.
Then we create a mock json api -- using json server.
Finally, we connect the html to the json api using vanilla js to render the items in our database and even update them on drag and drop. This means that the changes the user makes when the items are dragged are permanent!
