January 2017 I sat down in the studio. I was about to start a new track but I wasn't the least bit of excited. I was really sick of the freestyle vibe that was popular at the time. (Happy melodies with raw kicks)
So I said to myself. Why not just make what you really want. Fuck the rules, screw what's popular. Why not make a Jump track? But not the old stuff.... But fresh new sounds with balls!
I started getting excited and after some experimenting I created some real jump tunes. I posted a small teaser online and it literally exploded! Suddenly my preview video was going viral, everybody loved it!
3 years later I'm still producing Jump tracks... but i'm doing it the Pat B way. We're still learning everyday but more and more people starting to like it. I even have my own Jump label now! Wow!
I thought it would be nice to pay tribute to those very first tracks with a 2020 remix. So here it is: Pants down for booties (2020 Remix)
