Tutorial: Rock Of Ages -- Reharmonization
This is a beautiful old hymn. I have played it several different ways in order to highlight different approaches and different techniques applied to the same tune. The original sounds more like this: • Rock of Ages Traditionally it has a 3/4 time signature. I took the liberty of playing part of it in 4/4. This doesn't really create too much of a problem since I'm not using vocals (words). I will post the midi file to my blog. Sorry for the bad video picture -- my lighting was off.
