In this video I will show you how to install Flask in Visual Studio Code that too in the easiest way and the most right way possible.
If you have been struggling to install the Flask in a light-weight code editor like VSCode and start with creating the REST APIs then you have landed at the right video.
In this tutorial video I will show you
1. How to create a folder and open it in Visual Studio code - You will learn to create a python project folder and open it in Visual Studio Code in which you will install the Flask library.
2. How to create a virtual environment - You will also learn how to create a virtual environment within the python project folder created in step and activate it for use. I want you to memorise this command by heart as you will have to create virtual environment first before installing any package when you work in corporate IT companies.
3. pip install flask - Finally, you will learn to install flask in this virtual environment using the pip command. You'll see that the installation of flask happens in a flash
4. Test the installation of the flask library in Visual Studio code - You will learn how to import flask in main.py to test its installation and we will print 'Hello World' in the browser using a simple Flask service so you will also learn how to install Flask app in Visual studio code's terminal
Note in this video I won't be telling you how to install Visual Studio Code, I only show you step by step how to install flask in visual studio code python.
