DOJ report concludes Minneapolis police engaged in excessive force, discriminated
At a press conference in Minneapolis on Friday, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the results of a Department of Justice probe into its Police Department after the 2020 murder of George Floyd in police custody. Garland said the investigation found that Minneapolis police had a "pattern or practice" of using excessive force and had discriminated against African Americans and Native Americans.
