Crocodile skin has been used in manufacturing of luxury goods for thousands of years. Today, it is not so popular for obvious reasons, but this is an antique case, made in the 1930’s or 1930’s I’d say. A neat small size, supremely tough, a great colour and I can’t help but be drawn to it. What are your thoughts on this Crocodile Case? It would be used as an overnight bag, maybe a briefcase, but if it was designed purely as a briefcase, it would have sections on the inside…but, it could be used as one
The handle is broken. I’ve seen them many times like this, it’s a common problem, but it is perfectly fixable and worthwhile doing as it really is a useful case.
I know that some people will be horrified to see this crocodile case, but you’ve got to remember that this was made in a very different time of very different sensibilities. I think it should be used, rather than thrown away like some people suggest. Destroying this case is a true waste. Use it, avoid making a replacement in whatever materiel an it’s an eco-friendly product that will last for generations
