As a "Prelude" to the flow of my Walden pieces, I would like to present this piece which I wrote during my short time in New York following my time at Walden. The piece for dually inspired by a piece recommended to me by a friend at Walden, Lizst: Consolation No. 3 and Chopin: Cello Sonata in G Minor. The piece was written over the period of one and a half hours and two sittings. The first being in my hotel late at night and the second in Lincoln Center. Due to how quickly I wrote this piece about it, musically is not very good however I am pleased with the melodies I wrote.
