I had been trying to find a way of making/painting PBR maps on my models in Blender and wasn't sure which one to get, subsequently I purchased one which just didn't work well for me and was reluctant to fork out for anything else. Eventually I saw PBR painter which, at $24 (as of writing) wasn't going to break the bank but looked like it had a lot of potential. I was so pleased with it that I just had to make a video of how nice it is to work with, everything is so nicely contained in the Add-on and I loved how easy it was to create grunge maps/ambient occlusion in Cycles and bake down for use in Eevee. This video is a very basic first use for me and I expect to produce some much better examples in the near future. Here is the final baked scene along with the original texture maps that I used:
