Please note:
1.Windows 95-Whistler used Windows startup sound as Windows logon sound
2. In Windows XP ,Windows used the Windows XP startup sound as Windows Logon event.However, the Windows XP logon sound is actually stored in the Windows Media folder but it is only used when switching users.
3.The Worldwide "Longhorn" sounds are owned by Samsung and never being used in any builds of Windows Longhorn. Windows Longhorn actually used XP sounds (later with some Vista sounds)
4.Starting from Windows 8,Windows logon sound event is disabled by default and it can be brought back by editing regedit. The Windows logon sound is located in the Windows media folder but the sound is different from Windows vista and 7.
