Confirm & Start Your Classic Automation in Mailchimp (October 2020)
In this video, we’ll confirm and start our automated email series.
Now that we’ve designed our emails and reviewed our settings, we’re ready to confirm and start our automated email series. On the Emails step of the automation builder, we’ll click Next to navigate to the Confirm step.
On the Confirm step, Mailchimp provides a checklist to make sure we’re ready to send. If we see a red X, this means something needs to be reviewed. We can use the dropdown menu under that section to see what the issue is.
Green check marks mean our automation is good to go, but if we would like, we are still able to edit these sections before sending.
When we’re all set, we’ll click Start Sending, and then confirm once more by clicking Start Sending in the popup modal to start our automated email.
And that’s it! You’ve now successfully created and started a custom automated email series which will greet your new subscribers when they sign up to receive your marketing, or when you manually add them to your audience.
