Pan pastel portrait quick sketch
In this portrait sketch I use pan pastel with black and two warm colors. The point of this was to keep loose and not get caught in perfectionistic tendencies. If you struggle with color this is a great way to ease into it. Just start with black and one color (warm or cool) and then add two colors. In this case two warm colors where one is darker and the other is a middle value or mid-tone.
