The World's FASTEST BOMBER in RC: XB-70 VALKYRIE
The XB-70 Valkyrie, an experimental plane developed for the US Air Force by North American Aviation was the world's fastest bomber. Its inaugural flight 60 years ago in September 1964 kicked off a golden era for supersonic aircraft. Of the North American XB 70 Valkyrie only two examples were built and it achieved a speed of just over 2,000 miles per hour, nearly 50% faster than the Concorde. The example shown in this video is a scale model turbine version of the XB-70 Valkyrie expertedly flown during the 43rd RC airshow Hausen a.A. 2024 ("43. Flugtag Hausen a.A. 2024").
