How to Close all Open Tabs in Google Chrome in Android: You can open as many tabs as you want in Chrome. You can also view all your tabs and switch between them. When you open a new tab, a personalized New Tab page based on your browsing history appears.
The number of webpage tabs you can keep open at one time will depend on the device. ie. Devices with higher specifications will be able to keep more pages open than lower specification devices.
If you have the maximum number of tabs open, you will not be able to open a new tab until one of the others is closed.
Please note: if you try to open a new tab while you have the maximum number of tabs open, this may cause the oldest tab open to automatically be closed to create space.
Open a new tab
1. On your Android device, open the Chrome app Chrome.
2. At the top right, tap More Organize and then New tab New tab.
Tip: You can also open a new tab by tapping New tab New tab at the top of your Google Chrome window.
Close a tab
1. On your Android device, open the Chrome app Chrome.
2. On the right, tap Switch tabs Switch tabs. Any open tabs will appear.
3. At the top right of the tab you want to close, tap Close Close. You can also swipe to close the tab.
