LSU's Michaela Rose put on a masterclass effort in the women's 800m invitational at the 2024 Bryan Clay Invitational, lowering her collegiate No. 2 all-time mark to 1:58.37 for the win. That also made for Rose's first-ever performance under 1:59 and is still only behind Athing Mu in the collegiate all-time rankings.
