It does not matter if you want to use it as an artist, graphic designer, or professional. It is a very fun program to explore, and see what you can create with it.

What do professional photographers, professional retouchers, Photoshop enthusiasts, and photography hobbyist have in common? Their love of photography. Whenever they take a picture and sit down to work on it they want to bring out the best of the image. It's both a passion and a quest.

I'm bringing you this OnOne Software PhotoTools review because I'm sure this software can inject some fun into that very personal search for photographic perfection.

Let me begin this OnOne Software PhotoTools review by explaining that it's an effects and photo enhancement software that can be used as a plug-in for Photoshop, Lightroom, or Aperture, and as a standalone program.

Once you've launched it, two shots of the image you're working on will appear on the screen. The one on the left is the "before" window and the one on the right the "after" window of the photo. If you're using it for the first time, at this point you should get a notebook, and jot down a review of the onOne PhotoTools 380 presets as you use them. Those presets are what make this software so much fun. By just clicking on one of the options the image drastically changes. What would have meant managing layers, masks and blend modes in Photoshop, is now a matter of choosing a preset and applying it. Is that cool, or what?

The beauty of the software doesn't end there, though. You can actually apply several presets to a photo with the "stacking" feature, and you can apply them in the order you want. You can also play with the intensity of the effect and adjust the slider bar below the established 100%, or use the brush for some masking.

This onOne software PhotoTools review intends to be fair, so I must say: Retouchers, beware! This is not a retouching software, but it's so much fun that you could easily take up a whole day going through the presets. The effects are so amazing and applying them so simple, that you could while away the hours and not notice. This is probably a nice problem to have, but my onOne Software PhotoTools review wouldn't be complete if I didn't warn you.

The amount of time you can save with onOne Phototools is what makes it ideal for professional photographers that work with large amounts of images. They can batch apply their favorite stacked presets and have create professional looking pictures quickly.

OnOne Phototools comes with a "Mini Library" feature that enables the user to save the presets they use most. This is a great creative opportunity because you can add and stack presets for a customized look. While getting used to the software you can search for presets by categories or keywords.

I'd like to conclude my onOne PhotoTools review by saying that it's a fun and valuable software for all of us that love photography and, for those that make a living out of it; it's a time effective tool.

Don't over think it. This one is a no-brainer. I hope you are able to walk away with everything you need to know from this OnOne Software Phototools Review.
