How to Rust Corten Steel (Weathering Steel)
Veradek Corten Steel products arrive in their raw steel state. While some of us enjoy the zen-like approach to rusting Corten Steel naturally, many of us want Corten Steel, and we want it now! Follow the instructions below to speed up the rusting process so you can show off your gorgeous products at that dinner party next weekend!
Ingredients:
16oz hydrogen peroxide
1/2 tbsp of salt
2oz white vinegar
Instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a spray bottle
2. Shake vigorously
3. Place a protective mat on the floor
4. Spray the mixture until the product is fully soaked and let it dry.
5. Repeat 6 - 10 times
6. Enjoy your transformation
