The Sweetest Death is a short horror film by me! Matthew D Gilpin! I've wanted to make a short horror film for a while (arguably, I already did with DON'T), so it was great experience, and something I'm really glad I did. I've also always loved Slasher films like Halloween (Hush is an underrated gem). So the stars were aligned for me to make this!
Also, let's be honest, making a short horror film is the PERFECT way to train your visual storytelling. Another reason why I'm glad I made this!
