Carburetor Fuel Level Adjusting Float Hight Yamaha XJ900 Mikuni BS36
In this video I describe my experiences adjusting the fuel level and float height using the cup method. It is a Mikuni BS36 type XJ900 58L Seca carburetor. The carburetors were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt and sealed using Keyster repair kits for this series. The correct setting of the fuel level in the float chamber is the basis for all other settings on the carburetor, such as the idle mixture and synchronization.
