JD Vance, Barack Obama to rally voters in Charlotte, NC area on Friday
Former President Barack Obama and Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance will be in Charlotte Friday as Election Day draws closer.
Obama is scheduled to speak at the Charlotte Convention Center in Uptown, where he will campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris and encourage early voting. Obama has been a vocal critic of Harris' opponent, former President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Vance will be holding a town hall in nearby Monroe, North Carolina. Vance has made several trips to North Carolina in recent weeks as the Trump campaign pushes to once again win the Tar Heel State. Vance recently appeared at the NASCAR race at Charlotte Motor Speedway and has spoken at several churches in the Charlotte area.
