Huawei EMUI 9 Review on Mate 20 Pro | New features tour
We take a guided tour of EMUI 9, Huawei's latest updated Emotion UI software found on the mighty Mate 20 Pro, reviewing the best new features compared with EMUI 8.
Emotion UI 9 makes quite a few changes, some in the background, some more up-front. Speedier performance and general tweaks make for a better experience on the Mate 20 Pro, while Huawei has added new features to EMUI 9 such as swipe navigation, Password Vault, Digital Balance and various camera tools.
So is the EMUI software on Huawei's Mate 20 Pro better than the older Emotion UI found on the likes of P20 Pro? In a word, yes. It's simpler and the navigation is definitely an improvement. And EMUI 9 will be coming to the likes of the Mate 10 Pro and other Huawei handsets in an update soon!
