Rio Hondo North Rainy Run
So after the recent rains we take a stroll along the Rio Hondo Northern Bike Trail and enjoy the recent blooms… but the blooms bring suffering for many folks… seasonal allergies! I used to suffer horribly from seasonal allergies until I made a few changes and they really made all the difference! I went from needing a wet bandana for protection from pollen to being relatively unbothered by even the worst blooms today! Some of the advice I give will be trite and boring, but it works, and some advice might be a bit controversial. Of all, probably the most important is to TAKE NOTES! As for the run, I start out as usual… feeling like i can’t even do one mile, but as long as we ignore our first mile, we recover and are able to finish the entire 12 miles slightly faster than planned… is that good or bad? You decide!
