In this video, I walk you through setting up a Windows Azure SQL Database and then importing some Microsoft Excel data. I show you a trick to get the SQL Server Management Studio Import/Export Wizard to work for a Windows Azure connection.
I show you how to setup a new Azure SQL Server.
Then you will see how to open up a firewall port that allows you to connect using your local SQL Server Management Studio.
Finally, I show you how to connect to a Microsoft Excel Workbook using excel connections and push that data over to your new tables in the SQL Server on Windows Azure.
