Chris and Emma do science! Climbing out of the saddle is a good technique for very steep gradients and the opposite is the same for seated climbing. Emma naturally prefers out the saddle, where Chris is different - let's see how the different techniques compare in terms of power output and heart rate for a set climbing course.
