I didn't need my telescopes to see the moon's craters. Instead, I used my Nikon COOLPIX P1000 camera to zoom in on the moon. But even a small pair of binoculars can see craters. With my camera, Theophilus was easy to spot. This crater is 62 miles wide (100 km) and 2 miles deep (3.2 km).
