Digital artists don't often like to talk about how much money they make but I wanted to give you some hope. You CAN earn money just by staying at home and drawing! Having a career in digital art is a little risky but by growing your audience, practicing, and having a good pipeline for your commissions you can make enough money to support yourself and be a full time artist from home!
In this video we go over how to set up your commission sheet to prepare for your career as a digital artist and start earning money.
In the next videos in this series we'll be going over how to build an audience as an artist on social media (instagram, twitter, tiktok).
Then later on we'll cover how much you should be charging based off your personal needs, how to brand yourself as an artist, and other income streams to earn money while you sleep.
I'm not a financial expert but I AM a professional artist who actually makes a living by drawing for game studios and personal clients every week, so I think I earn a bit of a pass.
