In this quick tutorial I show you how to create and animate a unique neon text effect in adobe after effects 2023 using the free saber plugin. Step one is to click on the type tool and write your text. Next, create a black layer solid. Now go over to the effects and presets panel and search for "Saber". Apply the saber effect to the black layer solid. Now open up your effect controls panel and select customize core. Set the core type to text layer and the source of your text layer to 2. Adjust the glow spread, glow intensity, and glow bias as you see fit. Finally, click the stop watch beside end size and end offset and set the them to 0%. Move forward a few seconds and adjust both to 100%.
