Instrumentation Engineering is the engineering specialization that focuses on the principle and operation of measuring and controlling variables like pressure, temperature that are used in design and configuration of automated systems. I&C also covers areas such as electrical and pneumatic quantities and the appropriate controlling action of the variable being measured.
