I recently created a Premiere Pro CC project that should have been created in Premiere Pro CS6. It was for a wedding video I'm passing to a fellow editor. Since Premiere Pro CC doesn't allow you to make a backward compatible project, I had to come up with a work around. It turned out that by exporting the project as an Apple Final Cut Pro XML file, you can import the project in an older version of Adobe Premiere Pro, with all edits in tact. This is a pretty easy process. I do my best to explain it concisely. Hope this helps anyone who faces the same situation.
