In this video, I will show you how introduce you to the PIO blocks and state machines on the Raspberry Pi Pico W. We will learn how to instantiate a state macine, how to program it, and how to interact with it from python. We will take you through it step by step, and will work to make sure you understand not just what we are doing, but why. At the end of this lesson you should be ready to write your own assembly code in micropython to program and interact with the sate machine.
