PaleRa1n Jailbreak: iPad 7th Gen, iOS 18.3.1 (Windows, Palen1x)
Installation of Palera1n, the semi-untethered jailbreak on an iPad 7th Gen, using a Windows-based platform (Surface Pro 7, Palen1x), on iOS 18.3.1 (latest iOS as of 16 Feb 2025). This should also work on all previous iterations of iOS as well, for the iPad 7th gen and other compatible devices. See other platform installation guides below (when I get around to them)
Rootless. I could not get rooful working at all, maybe you can.

I will very likely Not be making another video using Palen1x; it's a buggy mess and an absolute pain in the a$$ to get working consistently. However, I do have an Apple TV 4K 1st gen...Also on iOS 18. Hm.
Maybe I'll look into it at some point. Without Palen1x.

Additional commands for Apple TV 4K 1st Gen (may also work on iPad 7th Gen):
"on tvOS 18.2, they introduced sealed system volume, so you need to use -cf first to create fakefs"
palera1n -cf
ctrl-c (when it gets stuck at pongo os)
palera1n -cf
(wait 10 mins to create fakefs then appletv should reboot in restore mode)
palera1n -f
ctrl-c (when it gets stuck at pongo os)
palera1n -f
(wait 2 mins while appletv reboots jailbroken)
