For lucky number 7 part of this series, we’ll be tackling our new game mode once again!
We hit a few snags last time, but we’re re-rolling and hoping to go all the way today 😄
As are reminder, our new game mode will still be trivia themed, but have elements from the popular Rogue / Roguelike / Roguelite genre! Based on a game that’s even older than I, Rogue, the genre is nowadays more popular than ever! Games such as Balatro, Into the Breach & Hades are smash hits *and* critical darlings, while huge titles like God of War Ragnarök are creating a trend of DLC side-content in that style!
We’ll be dealing with the concept of RNG & runs, single-run “power-ups”, but mostly we’ll be trying to create an infinitely replayable Trivia Game where you strive for the highest score possible 🎰
