Welcome to the 38th Sharjah International Book Fair.
Sharjah International Book Fair is held annually in Sharjah, since January 1982, and it is considered the third-largest of its kind worldwide. It garners leading Arab and foreign writers, authors, artists, and specialists, and it features a diverse range of literary and cultural workshops, panel discussions, theatrical performances, and poetry evenings.
Steve Harvey came from the USA for the inauguration of the Sharjah International Book Fair. He was along His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi for the opening. They went and visited most of the exhibits at SIBF 2019.
The event takes place at the Expo Centre Sharjah , from 10 AM to 10 PM daily to the exception of Friday, from 4PM to 12 AM.
There are many books being launched and distinguished guests. So make sure you check out the official website for the schedule of events at Expo Centre Sharjah,
The Sharjah International Book Festival 2019 is from 30 Sep to 9 Nov. Everyday from 9 am to 10pm. Fridays 4 pm to 11 pm.
There are a lot of children's activities also, so please make sure you come early to avoid the rush.
