In early December 2019 we lost friend and label-mate Lauren Kathryn Newman who passed away at her home in Portland, OR at the age of 41 after a very long struggle with Crohn's Disease. Multi-instrumentalist and amazing song-writer, her sound and style were without comparison and uniquely her own. Here we've compiled a few clips from the upcoming Phratry-Movie (a documentary about Phratry Records) along with outtakes to create this short vignette to honor, enjoy, and remember her by. R.I.P., Lauren. Class will always be in session every time someone spins one of your records.
