Arch Linux Full Installation on a Laptop - Easiest Guide in 2020 | Legacy BIOS | ACER Aspire V3-471G
In this video, we will walk through step by step, how to Install Arch Linux on a laptop or desktop. In this video, I am installing Arch Linux, on ACER Aspire V3-471G laptop. The version of Arch Linux is 32-bit, and the installation is a Legacy Installation, with MBR partitioning scheme.
Note to viewers:
1] If you download the 64-bit ISO in July 2020, wifi-menu will not work, as netctl has been scrapped entirely. We will have to use iwd in order to connect to internet. I will make a video on that asap, but for now please refer to this Arch Wiki Page - https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Iwd. As seen here, it works fine for the 32-bit version.
2]Between 12:13 and 12:50 , I have repeatedly called partitions - "drives". I apologize for that, I earnestly meant partitions.
I am recording the VGA output on a Zebronics Monitor, via a Samsung phone Camera. Cameraman - M1cr0scOp1c
