What you are going to learn in this tutorial is how to make a male ninja character mesh.
You will learn how to apply setting to make retopology in Blender easier.
You will learn how to reduce edges in you geometry to connect different pieces of character mesh together.
You will learn how to retopologize the body, clothes, and accessories so that they are one mesh.
You will learn how to add put seams in your mesh to prepare for UV unwrapping
You will learn how to make a normal map for high poly model detail to a low poly mesh.
You will learn how to make an ambient occlusion map.
You will learn how to work in the node editor.
You will learn how to make make a diffuse map to transfer the color of your high poly mesh to the low poly mesh.
You will how to further manipulate your diffuse map in the image manipulator program Gimp.
