In yesterdays video, I talked about general Mac OS X keyboard shortcuts. Today I want to talk about shortcuts in the most used program for me: Google Chrome. Email is in Chrome, YouTube is in Chrome, Facebook, Google Drive. Everything! So it makes sense to learn all kinds of shortcuts. Here is a list of 22 shortcuts (in the video I forgot the last one 😳). I hope this is useful for you! Enjoy.
Google Chrome Shortcuts Cheat Sheet:
CMD + N ➡ Open a new browser window
CMD + SHIFT + N ➡ Open a new incognito browser window for private browsing
CMD + T ➡ Open a new tab inside the active window
CMD + SHIFT + T ➡ Reopen the last closed tab
SPACEBAR (on a web page, outside text areas) ➡ Scroll down one page
SHIFT + SPACEBAR (on a web page, outside text areas) ➡ Scroll up one page
CMD + :point_up_2: ➡ Scroll to beginning of website
CMD + :point_down: ➡ Scroll to end of website
CMD + :point_left: ➡ Navigate back to previous site
CMD + :point_right: ➡ Navigate to the next page (the one you just went back from)
CMD + ALT + :point_left: ➡ Switch tabs to the left
CMD + ALT + :point_right: ➡ Switch tabs to the right
CMD + R ➡ Reload the currently open tab
CMD + F (ENDER for next result, SHIFT + ENTER previous result) ➡ Find a text on the currently active page
CMD + SHIFT + J ➡ Open the downloads list
DRAG OUT OF TAB BAR WITH MOUSE ➡ Move a tab to a new window
CMD + 0 ➡ Set Font size to 100%
CMD + + ➡ Increase font size
CMD + - ➡ Decrease font size
CMD + CLICK ON LINK ➡ Open link in new tab and in background (so you can open multiple links after each other)
CMD + L ➡ Selects the address bar and you can navigate to a new place
CMD + ENTER (in address bar) ➡ Opens the typed search or address in a new tab
